We are three professionals who work in law, banking/real estate and sales and marketing. We balance family life with friendships, career and travel.
How We Got Started
Simple - three friends who travel together unfortunately learned that certain vacation destinations provide false and misleading information on their websites. Klondike Ranch is one of those organizations. This informational page is designed to share our evaluation / experience in June 2023.

BEWARE: Money Grab!!!
The old cabin (shown here) was in terrible condition. Leaking roof, dirty, unkept. Bathroom?? Please. 1-towel for the entire week so bring your own…Recommendation: stay at a local hotel or ensure you are in a newer cabin likely paid for with our funds. $2500 x 3.
Paid for 5 days of riding and rode a total of 8 hours due to the “threat of rain”. Never rained and spent most afternoons in downtown Buffalo, WY hoping the next day would be better….not the case. “Groundhog Day” Monday-Thursday.
Owners didn’t seem to care either. A 2.5 page evaluation report was prepared and shared with owners - including recommendations for improvement given our other ranch experiences - Their response demonstrated no understanding of “customer satisfaction”. At the end of the day - What is advertised is not reality. Very misleading. Ask a lot of questions upfront because reviews on both Tripadvisor and Google are varied. Also note - cattle involvement is very limited unless you are assigned a specific week to actually move / transfer cattle. It’s a dude ranch - not a working cattle ranch as one might expect.
Food, ranch help / wranglers and Wyoming beauty were outstanding.
